Where is my iBeacon, I don't know.

Oh, it is far , at least i know something.

It is near, it is inside the double box.

It is just beside my ipod touch.

I put iBeacon inside a box and inside another box. Because of the metal , the radio wave strength will reduce and I can emulation of the distance change.

iBeacon is subset of BLE

iBeacon 其實只是BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)的一種應用 比較起來iBeacon 只是一個Beacon只會發射資料 無需接收資料 因此種覺得比較不好玩

對了 為何這麼多iBeacon post, 因為最近都在想iBeacon的可能應用模式

室內基本上不容易定位 因此iBeacon提供了一個不錯的定位方法 讓Robot比較容易的可以在室內活動

你也可以把自己的iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad 變成一個iBeacon. 這樣在約會時可以比較容易找到對方 或是面交時不會找錯人（哈哈）

iBeacon for Used Car Sales

iBeacon 是一個小型的RF發射源 基本上會送出他是誰與發射的功率 因此接收可以判斷距離與知道它是誰或是說在哪邊 可以用來標示地點 物件等

因此我覺得用來標示中古汽車銷售是個不錯的東西 一家中古車商會有好幾百台的車再賣 沒有人會記得每一台車的資料 因此使用iBeacon 加上iPAD 上的資料 就可以讓買家清楚的知道車子的其他資料 其實如果是脫售 更可以及時的讓你跟賣家直接的出價（一種沒用的想法）

Hotel Safe use iPhone as Key

Use your iPhone as Key to open the Safe in Hotel.

Sequence:

1.Safe in Open State for over 30 seconds  will enter PairMode.(LED indication)

2.Put your iphone near the safe.

3.Safe will pair with you iphone.(LED indication)

4.Close the safe in 30 seconds.

5.Wait until it is close.(LED Indication)

6.Put your phone near the safe. Safe will open if it is the phone it pair last time.

7.If you open the safe for over 30 seconds it will back to step 1.

Other wise it will back to state 4.

I think it can be done use BLE.

PS.It seems a bad idea, since RF signal won't go out of iron box.

Node modular iOS sensor hands-on

The Node syncs quickly with newer iOS devices (only those that are Bluetooth 4.0 compatible, sorry) once you've got the free app downloaded. At present, the app offers up four modes: Kore (accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope), Clima (climate), Luma (flashlight) and Therma (infrared thermometer), with lots more planned soon. BLE Idea - Smart Poster

Put a BLE device in a Movie Poster. When people come nearby the phone app will pop up and show the trailer of the movie and make a poll about what people think about the movie. Latter user can see the accumulated result. Like a Active QR Code.

So I propose an idea. That use a BLE Token that contain the network access password and usage time. So parent can write the data into the Token and Child can use the Token to tune on the network.

USB Dongle from aibo from pchome and WED-210V4 is not working for BLE test. But WED-210V4 is working fine on PC.
