Medically, it means you are free of any tumor :)

What you own is a set of tools. Do you need to own all these tools? Can you rent/borrow these tools and effectively learn the skill? The same goes to the music/video/game CD/DVD collections. How often do you enjoy your collection? To some extend, money is a kind of collection. Wealth bring you a sense of security and the feeling of power. If you sell all of your belonging and translate them into a bigger number in your bank account, does it make you more powerful and closer to "身無長物"?

In the modern world, your belonging (the stuff you own) defines the perception of "you" in the society. People judge you by your appearence, clothing, cars you drive, house you live in and the toys you own. Even a monk or a priest was judge by the size of his temple, number of followers and size of his endowment (money).

I think you should keep all of your tools and make sure to donate them when you no longer use them in the last 2 years. And we should pray that we will be "身無長物" medically!
