Well, I do not think IT appliances can be considered as disruptive technology for mankind. I like new space technology such as Stratolaunch : http://stratolaunchsystems.com/index.html
Virgin Galactic : http://www.virgingalactic.com/ and new energy (Laser Fusion) technology: https://lasers.llnl.gov/ and all the breakthroughs in genetic cancer research and human longevity research can be considered as disruptive technology for human.
